Hi, I’m River. I’m from Iowa, but currently going to school and living in Boulder, Colorado. I started making my own music when I was 16 but just recently started releasing my work. All my work is written and recorded by me in my bedroom, dorm room, or car. My music would probably be best described as psychedelic indie. I use music as an outlet to write about how I feel, and that can probably be seen in some of my more melancholic work. A lot of my inspiration for making music comes from the late Arthur Russell.
