Wednesday morning January 2018 at about 9pm. Total chaos in the Gare Du Midi/Zuidstation in Brussels. Boards turn red. All the train have delays. Above it all a cool and calm talkbot voice announcing the delays in four languages while people scurry from one platform to platform. At the end the deadpan robot voice announces a delay of at least one hour to the airport which causes even more chaos on the floor. I was standing under the speakers in the ceiling. So I made a recording. No treatment. I compressed, slowed it down a bit and added some reverb. This is the sound of total railway chaos.
Entirely analog, lush melodic pop with a tender heart from L.A. artist Human Barbie sounds bigger than the bedroom project it is. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 22, 2020
Market, from Melbourne, fuse soul and chillwave on a wonderfully woozy song with rubbery guitars & breathy harmonies. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 19, 2020
The Seams' jangly pop is full of lovely melodic twists and elegant turns-of-phrases delineating the quotidian details of love and romance. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 5, 2018
